24. FIDUCIARY ASSETS
The Group manages projects on behalf of others, and maintains cash balances and notes receivable in fiduciary accounts,
which are not reflected in the Group’s consolidated statement of financial position. Assets under management as of 31
December 2011, amounted to KD 4,688,330 (2010- KD 6,840,820; 2009: KD 12,060,967).
25. RELATED PARTY BALANCES AND TRANSACTIONS
The Group has entered into various transactions with related parties, i.e. shareholders, key management personnel and
other related parties in the normal course of its business concerning financing and other related services. Prices and terms
of payment are approved by the Group's management. Significant related parties’ balances and transactions are as follows:
